Hi, I'm so happy and I feel so honored:) because I'm
a guest DT at Aurora Wings Challenge blog today for the
new challenge Anything Goes which started today
I had many thoughts which image I would choose, Mitzi
have so many wonderful images, the choice fell on
Crimson Blossoms and Poppy
I love poppies and especially the blue mountain poppy
and here's how my interpretation of this flower comes
Here is the image Poppy
I've made the frame with Faux Metal Technique
Copic Markers

Here is how I made the frame with Faux Metal Technique
(It is another frame, because I lost the pictures
on this frame in the camera transfer to the computer
so I had to make a new one)
I use chipboard, aluminium tape, double-sided tape, black acrylic color,
chipboard and fabric with texture
I put double-sided tape on the frame to keep the fabric in place
then I put out the chipboard where I want them,
have put some double-sided tape on the back
Now on with aluminium tape and rub it so the texture of the
fabric and all the details on the chipboard come forth.
Oh, here I rubbed too hard so it got a hole,
no danger, just put on a piece of tape and rub on
Now I have rubbed the whole frame, a bit hard to
see the whole structure because it's shining in the camera
Covers the entire frame with black acrylic color
I use a cloth for it
Before the color has dried completely, I wipe away
most of the color with a cloth, let it dry
Finally, I put Inka Gold in different colors, wipe off before it dry
with a cloth
You'll also see my tools that I rub with

WOW, Lisbeth! What a fabulous project! Love your amazing coloring of Crimson Poppy in the gorgeous blue blues and how you've added the additional poppies in the corners. That frame is absolutely amazing, as well. It frames her beautifully and I'm thrilled you did such a fabulous tutorial so I can try one myself. Thanks so much for joining us as Guest Designer this month. We're so happy to have you! xxD
